The Vision
My theme for this collection was to take endangered animals and turn them into celestial constellations. That way, if some of these animals do become extinct, they will instead be remembered and placed in the stars above.
Summary
In 2020, I created 31 illustrations of critically endangered animals, where 50% of the Net Proceeds go to a charity to help endangered animals. Most purchases go to the WWF, but some folks like to make sure their purchase goes to a charity that focuses on their animal of choice (so if you have one in mind, let me know when making a purchase!). By purchasing from this collection you are helping donate to these causes!
The other 50% helps me cover reprint/production costs to keep this project alive.
Why Net Proceeds and Not Gross? This is due to taxes, fees, and printing costs. I could no longer afford to keep the project going after donating 50% on Gross Proceeds. This is also why the smallest print size I run is 8.5x11 for the Art Prints.
Where Can I Support The Project?
I'm currently working on an online store where you can buy the physical products, but for now, the main location is on my Gumroad! Digital Downloads of the products will be a 100% donation rather than a 50% donation, since there isn't any production costs.
